Mark Zluhan
Mark Zluhan is founder and Managing Director and has more than 20 years of consulting experience in the healthcare field.
Before founding HHC he was Managing Partner at B-LUE for more than 10 years. Before joining B-LUE in 2006, he was responsible for “German healthcare practice” as the Team leader at KPMG Consulting. His first assignment as a partner was in 1999 with Angermann and Partner, International Business Consultants in Hamburg.
Mark Zluhan focuses on strategic repositioning, spin-offs, mergers, process optimization, restructuring and acquisitions. His clients are basically acute care hospitals, university hospitals, specialized heart centers, rehab clinics and long-term care facilities (public, unaffiliated non-profit or privately owned). In addition, he works for companies in the financial services sector such as banks, insurances and private equity funds (operations and real estate), which are engaged in the healthcare field.
A particular focus of his consulting activities is the sustainable implementation of process excellence in hospitals. Mark Zluhan studied Economics and Administration Sciences at the University of Konstanz. In the United States he completed Postgraduate Studies in Political Sciences at the University of North Texas. He worked as a Teaching and Research Assistant in the area of “American Government”.
He is an author of many specialized publications in healthcare journals and he was a lecturer for „Strategic Hospital Management“ at the Fresenius University in Hamburg.
Dr. med. Martin Struckhoff
Dr. med. Martin Struckhoff (Partner) is a physician and a certified quality manager (DGQ). He has more than 20 years of experience in management consulting. His focus in healthcare is in university clinics, acute care hospitals, rehabilitation clinics, pharmaceutical industry, medical devices and public services.
He has studied humane medicine at the University of Hamburg and has worked as assistant physician at the University hospital of Hamburg (UKE). Afterwards he joined the pharmaceutical industry. Since 1995 he has been active as management consultant. Many years he has worked for top management consulting firms such as Roland Berger Strategy Consultants and PwC Consulting.
Dr. Struckhoff has profound knowledge and experience in strategy and process development, project and interim management, change management, total quality management and mergers & acquisitions.
